Christine Hernandez has been teaching Spanish to lower grades at Holy Spirit since 2002. In the 2007-2008 School Year she expanded her classroom to include all grade levels, K-8. She holds a B.A. degree in Spanish and French from James Madison University in Harrisburg, VA, and has completed 30 hours towards her Master's in Spanish Literature from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. At JMU, she helped to establish a Semester Abroad Program in Salamanca, Spain, and she studied for a year at the University of Salamanca. She has taught Spanish to students of all ages from pre-school to adult, and thoroughly enjoys inspiring others to expand their world with a new language.
