Mrs. Sweeney is originally from Mobile, Alabama.

Huntsville as been home since 1987. Her work history includes practice in a clinical setting at the Huntsville-Madison County Mental Health Center and offering private psychotherapy services until accepting the position as Holy Spirit Regional School's Guidance Counselor in 1998.

Mrs. Sweeney values greatly watching children develop into young adults and caring citizens.
