Lee Dumbacher is a native of Connecticut. She received her Masters in Administration from UAH and her B.A. in English from Miami University. She has been a member of Good Shepherd parish since 1987.

She and her husband, who works for NASA, have three children. All three are graduates of Holy Spirit. In addition to Huntsville, the family has lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Dumbacher is active in the Parents Association of Catholic High School. Her interests include travel, golf, reading, needlework and cooking. Her philosophy has always been the Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do to you!"
