Communications

A WEDNESDAY NEWSLETTER is e-mailed to families once per week unless otherwise notified. If you are not receiving weekly newsletters, contact the office to be added to the mailing list.

The newsletter is also available online by clicking "News" in the navigation menu above the picture of the school on the school's website.

Each week a WEDNESDAY ENVELOPE will be sent home with your oldest child. This will be a large envelope with communications from the office. This is a one way envelope. Please do not send anything back to the office in this envelope.  Empty envelopes are returned for re-use each week.

RenWeb will be the school's main source of communication with parents. Student's grades, homework assignments and other information will be posted regularly.

Parents will receive information on how to set up RenWeb accounts from the office as soon as it is operational. 

 

Mass Schedule

  • 3rd and 4th grade students have Mass at 12:00 noon on Mondays.
  • 5th and 6th grade students have Mass at 7:30 a.m. on Thursdays
  • 7th and 8th grade students have Mass at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays.
  • School Mass is at 9:00 a.m. every Friday unless otherwise stated.
Parents are always welcome to join students at Mass in the church

Cafeteria

All school lunches are pre-ordered and prepaid by the month or by the semester. Lunch menus and order forms will be available the 15th of the month and are due no later than the 22th of the month. Make checks payable to Holy Spirit School Cafeteria. All school prepared lunches include salad bar and milk. Pizza will be offered on Friday. The salad bar and milk will be available daily. These items may be purchased daily or ordered monthly. If a child has not ordered a lunch and does not bring a lunch from home, he/she will be provided with cheerios and milk Under no circumstances can lunch be charged. Carbonated beverages and beverages in glass containers are not allowed. Do not send lunch items that require heating. Due to time, facilities and staffing, heating of food items is not a possibility.

Pricing (Subject to Change):
Daily Lunches (includes salad bar and milk) = $3.00
Pizza (includes 1 slice of cheese pizza, salad and milk) = $3.00
Additional Pizza (when purchased with lunch) = $1.50 each
Salad Only = $1.00
Milk Only = $0.50

Parents are encouraged to use the online lunch program to order lunches. You must fill out an order online for each child and then submit your lunch order to ensure your child's lunch has been recorded. The online lunch program is available at hstigers.org/lunch. The lunch program is also available online by clicking "Lunch" in the navigation menu above the picture of the school on the school's website.

Drop Off and Pickup

School begins at 8:00 am and dismissal is at 3:05 p.m. daily. Click here for a map of drop off and pickup procedures. All children in a family will be dismissed in the line with the oldest sibling.

Before Care/After Care Hours (Phone)

Before Care is available from 6:30 until 7:30 when children will go to the classrooms. After Care is available from 3:15 until 5:45 daily unless otherwise notified. You will be billed monthly for any time that your child(ren) have spent in before/after care.

Uniform Policy

All uniforms must be ordered from Dennis Larose Uniform Company or Land's End Uniform Company. For complete uniform policy click here or refer to the student handbook.

Some helpful information about uniforms:

  • Holy Spirit Plaid is number #310 and must be ordered from Dennis Larose.
  • Jumpers, skorts, and skirts must be an appropriate length of no more than 3 inches above the knee.
  • Children in K-3 will not dress out for PE. Children in 4-8 grade will be expected to dress out for PE each day
  • Please print your child’s name on all articles of clothing worn to school and regularly check the lost and found box located in the cafeteria for missing articles.

LANDS' END SCHOOL UNIFORMS (1-800-469-2222)
Holy Spirit Regional School uses Lands' End as a uniform source for parents to purchase school uniforms. Lands' End has a program where 3% of your net sales from the Lands' End School Uniform catalogs will be donated to our school. This donation will be used for an educational project of the school's choice.

Preferred School Number
To have your purchases count towards the contribution program, be sure to mention our preferred school number at the beginning of each order. (Please note: The preferred school number takes the place of your normal customer number and is used to track your purchases for our school's contribution program)

Logo Information
The size, thread colors, and the products to which the logo may be applied have been decided by our school personnel. Lands' End is not permitted to change the logo or apply it to any colors, product, or location on the item that the school has not authorized. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the logo, please contact the school.
