The mission of Holy Spirit School is to provide an education strongly rooted in Catholic values, reflecting each student’s unique qualities and promoting excellence in the whole person.

Our vision is to challenge students to be faith filled individuals as they discover and utilize their gifts and talents through academic success and service to others.

BELIEF STATEMENTS

Holy Spirit School proclaims the Gospel message of Christ and supports the development of faith begun in the home to help young people grow in service to God, church, community and one another.

Students need to demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, both by being actively involved in solving problems and by producing quality work applied in meaningful contexts.

A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.

Because all students are children of God with special talents and needs and are valued with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs, they should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.

Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school’s mission.

The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.

Cultural diversity can increase students’ understanding of different peoples and cultures.
