

Primary Grades

Mrs. Knight graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. She has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades, as well as Seventh and Eighth grade Math. She has covered the states of Georgia, Texas, Mississippi, and even Germany, now to add Alabama! Her husband is retired from the U.S. Army, and they have a son and daughter, both now in high school. When not teaching her littles, Mrs. Knight enjoys reading, working in her yard, and spending time with her family and friends. She is so excited to be teaching Pre-K for Holy Spirit's smallest Tigers!


Rebecca Conrad is from Prescott, Arizona and has worked with children for over 20 years. The Conrad family joined the Army in 2004, and this gave them the amazing privilege of travelling the world as well as providing Rebecca with opportunities to teach children of various ages worldwide. She has taught at a DODEA school in Baumholder Germany, a Montessori school in Hawaii, and just prior to moving to Huntsville, she taught at Sacred Heart Catholic school in her hometown of Prescott, Arizona. She has been in Huntsville just over a year and was a substitute teacher at Holy Spirit School for the 2019/2020 school period. She received her degree through North Central University. She has three daughters; two attend Holy Spirit and the third is attending NAU in Flagstaff, AZ. Rebecca is an accomplished artist who has taught painting and has been awarded for several pieces of work in Europe.

Alex McNichol graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she earned her Bachelors in Elementary Education for grades K-6th. Miss McNichol loves to play board games, read, hang out with family, and spend time with her beloved cat, CC. This will be her third year teaching kindergarten at Holy Spirit, and she is excited for another wonderful year!

Jill Sneed earned a business degree from Mississippi State with a double major in Finance and Economics. She joined the faculty at Holy Spirit in 2019 as a Kindergarten aide and is excited to return to the land of the littles. She and her husband have two children, both students at Holy Spirit. She loves her Catholic faith, turtles, sports and the outdoors.


Anna Littrell began teaching at Holy Spirit Catholic School in August 2018. She is a graduate from Auburn University, where she received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Littrell loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys doing anything related to the outdoors. She loves to cook, bake, and travel!

Mrs. Caruso holds a BA degree from UAH and is certified through the State of Alabama Department of Education to teach grades K-6. She has been teaching at Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School since 1995 in the roles of primary aide, first grade teacher, and second grade teacher. Mrs. Caruso is co-creator of the yearbook and serves on the Holy Spirit Foundation Board outside of school. When she is not at school, Mrs. Caruso enjoys reading, playing games, and working as a volunteer usher for local theater groups.

Emily Elliott began teaching at Holy Spirit Catholic School in August 2018. Mrs. Elliott is a graduate of the University of North Alabama. There she received a B.S. in Elementary Education with a specialty in Pre-K through 3rd grade. Prior to teaching at Holy Spirit, she taught 5th grade in Huntsville City Schools. Mrs. Elliott enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing with her dogs, Roxie and Lilly, hiking, and spending time at the pool.

Mrs. Komara has been a student, parent, and supporter of Holy Spirit School. She is now an aide and loves it! Mrs. Komara has four adult children, three sons and one daughter. Her favorite pastime is spending time with them. Mrs. Komara also loves attending her son's basketball games (Go UAH Chargers!), traveling, reading and spending time with her kitty, Ollie and her puppy, Charlie.
Middle Grades

Marianne Schuld graduated from Auburn University and received her masters from LaGrange College. She is married to Alan Schuld and has four children, three girls and a boy whom are all in college now. They are at UGA, University of North Georgia and Auburn University. She has been teaching for 10 years and loves seeing children grow and learning new things. She feels blessed with the opportunity to teach at Holy Spirit and can’t wait to see what God has in store for her.

Laura Stout began working at Holy Spirit in 2008 as a substitute and has been teaching 3rd grade since 2010. She is originally from Granite City, IL (St. Louis area). She holds a BS in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Ms. Stout has previously taught 6th grade Title 1 and 3rd grade in Missouri, and Pre-K at a catholic school in Illinois. In her spare time, Ms. Stout likes to read, craft, play games, and spend time with her daughter.


Mrs. Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Elementary Education and Louisiana State University with a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Her professional career spans 40 years in elementary teaching and administrative experience. Her family and grandchildren reside in Huntsville. Mrs. Fletcher's personal enjoyment and hobbies include traveling, reading, gardening, cooking, and sports which are all shared with her best friend, her husband, Marvin.

Miss Carole Stout began working for Holy Spirit School as a substitute teacher, then as a Title 1 interventionist. She is originally from Granite City, IL (St. Louis area). As a graduate of Athens State University, Miss Stout holds a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Educational Technology. In her spare time, Miss Stout enjoys reading, baking, gaming, and playing ukulele.


Miss Dunn recently graduated from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in K-6 Teacher Education. Prior to college, she graduated from Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in 2012. In her free time, she enjoys working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She has three nephews, a niece, and there will be a new addition this summer! Football season is her favorite, and she loves to take trips to Knoxville to cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers - Go Vols!

Joe Rist began teaching at Holy Spirit in 2003. His degrees include Elementary Education and a minor in special education from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a degree in Finance from Auburn University. During his free time he enjoys competing in triathlons, trail and road running, and spending time with his wife and three children. He is an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Middle School

Ginger Neuschatz is the homeroom teacher for 8th grade Blue, and teaches middle school language arts. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Auburn University, and a Master’s in English from UAH. She went back to UAH for her teaching certificate because she loves spreading her love of reading and literature so much. She likes reading, going to the movies (and always gets popcorn), and working out (because of the snacks).

Mrs. Jane Buxton has a Bachelors of Science degree in Math and Biology Education from Troy State University, Troy, and a Masters of Science degree in Math Education from Troy State University, Dothan. She has experience in teaching math and biology at John T Morgan Academy in Selma, Alabama, and at New Century Technology High School here in Huntsville. Mrs. Buxton joined the faculty of Holy Spirit Regional Catholic school in 2014. While at Holy Spirit, she has taught middle school math and K-8 art. When not teaching, Mrs. Buxton enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and being a mother to her thirteen-year-old border collie, Ozzy. Mrs. Buxton also enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music, and watching movies.


Mrs. McQueen was born and raised in Huntsville, a graduate of Grissom High School. She has degrees from Jacksonville State University in Recreational Therapy and Sociology, Calhoun Community College as an Alabama Licensed EMT, Athens State with a degree in Elementary Education, and A&M with a Masters in Elementary Education. She retired from Huntsville City Schools after 36 years of teaching 6th grade Environmental Science.
She has been married to her husband Dr. Fitzgerald McQueen for 25 years, and they are blessed with two children, Gerald (24) and Hope (19). In her spare time, she manages her own business selling handcrafted vinyl apparel and a Tupperware Consultant. Mrs. McQueen is a BIG Star Wars fan and Yoda is her favorite character. She loves cross stitching, quilting, and gardening.


Mrs. Wall has a B.S. and a M.S. in secondary education, math. She is an adjunct teacher at Calhoun Community College, and is currently in her second year at Holy Spirit.
Mrs. Wall enjoys board games and puzzles. She is a proud mother of a son that is currently at UAB studying Bio-Medical, and a first generation immigrant from Germany.

Mr. Nick Noletto is a graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic School, Mobile, Alabama. He has a double major from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in History as well as Secondary Education. He currently teaches Middle School Religion at Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School, where he has taught for the last eight years. Mr. Noletto has a total of eleven years’ experience in the challenging field of education. He is a proud husband to Megan Noletto and father of four energetic boys.

Mrs. Parilli is a proud graduate of Holy Spirit School (kindergarten through 8th grade) and is excited to return as a teacher. She holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University, an MA in Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University, and is projected to complete an MA in Teaching History at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2021. Before becoming an educator, she served as an Army officer for eight years. She has been a teaching assistant in both preschool and kindergarten, as well as a 5th-grade teacher. When Mrs. Parilli is not reading history, she enjoys spending time with the amazing men in her life - her husband, Tony, two boys, Tony and Paul, and their dog, Enzo.

Mrs. Wagner is a Huntsville native, alumni of Holy Family School (then St. Joseph's School), and an active church member at St. Joseph's. She is an ETS Certified Para-Professional, and came to Holy Spirit with 20+ years in elementary education. This is her third year with Holy Spirit.
She and her husband of nearly 40 years relocated back to Huntsville after spending over 23 years in Charleston, South Carolina. They have five grown children and four grandchildren that are spread out among the Southeast states. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, her dog Riley (a tricolor Welsh Corgi), water aerobics, bicycling, and most any outdoor activity. She also is a member of the St. Joseph's Folk Choir.

Taylor Fuller is an Instructional Assistant for the middle school grades. She is currently a full-time student at Athens State University, majoring in Elementary/Collaborative Education. She have lived in the Huntsville area most of my life, and loves cooking, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She is very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Holy Spirit Catholic School staff and get to know everyone!
Universal Faculty

Mrs Nicely began working at Holy Spirit in Fall 2016 as the Librarian/Media Specialist and has since added the Theater Department. She has a Bachelors in History from the University of North Alabama, a Bachelors in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Masters in Library Science specializing in Research Development and Technology from the University of Alabama, a Masters in History specializing in Medieval and Ancient Studies American Military University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies.
Previously, Mrs Nicely's work experience has included the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Calhoun Community College, and St. John Paul II Catholic High School.

Candace Jacobs, who is a Huntsville native, has been teaching at Holy Spirit School since 2003. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a bacehlor's degree in elementary education, where she was top of her class as Sum Cum Laude. Candace attended the University of Alabama on a full cross-country scholarship and later ran track and field for the university. She got married to her wonderful husband Erik in October of 2004. They have two boys: Jonathan, who was born in 2007, and Aarron, who was born in 2013. Mrs. Jacobs ran with Fleet Feet sports for ten years before having her second son. She still runs today and competes at a competitive level.

Catherine Bordeaux is a 2013 graduate of Saint John Paul II Catholic High School. She graduated in 2016 from the University of North Alabama where she majored in Sociology and Family Studies. During her time at UNA she interned with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Lauderdale County Department of Human Resources. Catherine has been a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church since moving to Huntsville in 2009. She joined the Holy Spirit Regional School family in January 2017. Catherine obtained a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in February 2020. She currently has her Associate License in Counseling (ALC).

Joe Bader moved from the Atlanta area to Huntsville in 2017. With degrees from Baldwin Wallace College in Ohio and Indiana University, Mr. B. taught middle and high school band for 30 years, dividing his time between public and private schools. His bands were motivated to love and master music and as a result received invitations to perform at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall and St. Martin in the Fields in London. As a performer, he played trumpet with many groups including the Charleston Symphony, the Atlanta Braves Turner Field Jazz Band. Here in Huntsville, he has led brass clinics for many area schools and plays with several local bands. Between them, he and his wife Holly have four children.

Mr. Onder, received a bachelor's degree in Commercial Music from the University of North Alabama & a Masters Degree in Music Education from Alabama A&M University.
He is in his 21st year of teaching: (All at Holy Spirit)! He teaches General Music along with two afterschool activities (Spirit Fuel Choir & Guitar Ensemble).
Mr. Onder loves to record and perform, especially with his daughter, Adrianne. Along with playing several venues in the community, he is also Youth Music Minister at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He is responsible for this Sunday 11:45 AM Youth/Young People’s Mass.
He also loves to cook, exercise, and walk his dogs.

Julie Baldwin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. During her time at Auburn, she became a member of both the Delta Epsilon Iota National Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Prior to joining the Holy Spirit team, she taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Huntsville City Schools. She welcomed her first child in January 2020, and spends all of her free time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys traveling, camping, and learning to golf.

Karen Lico is a native New Yorker. She received her Bachelor's degree from St. Bonaventure University and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Mrs. Lico taught middle school Language Arts and Literature, directed a Library-Media Center and integrated a Digital Literacy program in grades preK-8 at St. Luke’s School in Barrington, Rhode Island. Mrs. Lico is excited to be the facilitaror of the Fr. MacMahon STREAMLab which opened in 2020. A mother of two, and a recent transplant with her husband to Huntsville, Mrs. Lico is passionate about teaching in the faith-filled community of Holy Spirit School.

Mrs. Alonso was born in Havana, Cuba and grew up in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor in Management with a double major in International Business from Florida International University (FIU) in 1987 and received her Teacher Certification from Athens State University. Mrs. Alonso and her family moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1997 and she has been teaching Spanish at Holy Spirit School since 2009. She loves her job at Holy Spirit because it's like her home away from home. She is married and has three wonderful children that have all attended Holy Spirit School and St. John Paul II Catholic High School. Mrs. Alonso enjoys spending time with her family, taking pictures, making rosaries to donate to charity, and making photo books. Faith is very important to Mrs. Alonso.
Administration


Mrs. Therese Wesley was born in Montana. As an Air Force brat, she lived in many different places including Germany and England. Her family settled in Montgomery, Alabama after her dad was assigned to Gunter Air Force Base. Mrs. Wesley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education/Mental Retardation from the University of Alabama. Upon graduation, Mrs. Wesley was hired as a resource teacher in Morgan County where she taught special needs children for 7 years. She completed a Master’s degree in Special Education/Learning Disabilities in 1987. Mrs. Wesley joined the staff at Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School in the fall of 2004 as a 4th grade teacher. Mrs. Wesley earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education in 2007.
Mrs. Therese Wesley and her husband Jeff were married in 1988. They have three children who all attended Holy Spirit School. Mrs. Wesley enjoys swimming, gardening, and quilting. She is also involved in the music ministry at Holy Spirit Catholic Church as a choir member and as a cantor. Mrs. Wesley has been a member of Holy Spirit Church since 1984.


Ava is the mother of 6 children, 5 lifers of Holy Spirit, and 8 grandchildren. Ava and family began school at Holy Spirit in 1986. She was employed by Holy Spirit in 1993 and became the before/aftercare manage for many years. She was also the “milk Lady” in the cafeteria for many years. Currently, Ava is the Kitchen Manager.
Ava has been involved in various church activities and organizations over the years. She has been a member of the choir since 1986.
Scouting has also had a special place in her heart. She has held many leadership positions with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls since 1989. She has been an active member of the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting for almost as long.
Hobbies are Reading, Backpacking, Hiking, Swimming and Biking. She is also a member of Canine-Cruisers and Huntsville Obedience Training Club and is an instructor for Foundations agility. She and her dog also participate in Freestyle and agility events. One of their favorite things is performing their routine with the Canine Co-Motion freestylers for the elderly, children and anyone else that enjoys watching dogs.

Cathy Jodon holds a BA in Business Management from Marshall University and a MHR in Human Relations from Oklahoma University. She began working at Holy Spirit School in 2013, and in January 2016 was promoted to Business Manager and is now the Events Coordinator. Mrs. Jodon is married and has two caring daughters. She enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.

Mrs. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She spent many years working in the retail industry before taking a wonderful career change to work with children. She has taught preschool, been a preschool director, and worked as a kindergarten aide for 9 years in a Catholic School before becoming an aide at Holy Spirit School in 2016. Her spare time favorites include watching VOLS Football, Braves Baseball, University of Memphis Basketball, and JP2 Baseball.

Jessica Mayer hails from the great state of New Mexico where she grew up on a small farm. She has well over 20 years of nursing experience, ranging from CCI, NICU, PACU, and now school nurse! She has been working at Holy Spirit since 2013. She is married and both of her daughters are life long Holy Spirit students. When not healing scrapes and bruises, Mrs. Mayer enjoys cooking, reading, sewing, and spending time with her animals. She loves the mountains and wishes that she could spend all of her time hiking.

Ms. Moreno started working at Holy Spirit in September 2019. In her time here, she has met wonderful people. She loves being the receptionist at Holy Spirit. She is fluent in Spanish and English, and has a six year son that is her world! He keeps her active in her free time. They love everything that has to do with the outdoors. She hopes to be part of the Holy Spirit family for a long time!

Mrs. Fields has a BA in Business Management from The University of Central Arkansas. Her work experience includes the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the Institute of Science Education working with the Alabama Math Science and Technology Initiative ( AMSTI ) for many years. Mrs. Fields and her husband have two daughters and will have a son-in-law in 2021. The Fields family loves to travel and, whenever she can, Mrs. Fields is in her happy place – her sewing studio, mostly making quilts and other items.

Susanne has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Memphis, a master's degree in Education and an administration certification from Christian Brother's University in Memphis, as well as information technology/networking coursework. She worked in business and advertising before teaching for 15 years. She has been working as the IT Coordinator for schools in Memphis, Madison and Huntsville since 2008 and currently serves both St. John's and Holy Spirit Catholic Schools in this capacity. Her passion is supporting teachers in technology and teaching good digital citizenship to students.
